Movement is what we do but it’s also who we are. It is one of the ingredients that defines life. Habits are learned over a lifetime of being in the world. These patterns are built on what we do well. It’s when they become too narrow that the flexibility needed in a changing environment becomes difficult to access.

Movement Learning Systems was created to help people learn new options for the habits they already have. It’s these new patterns that enable performance enhancement and the management of physical discomfort.

Movement Learning Systems is comprised of two elements: the martial art of Shoshinkan Aikido that includes the weapons systems of Aikibukido. MoveXcell, a sensory-motor learning method, is comprised of Golf Moves, lessons designed specifically for golfers; Back to a Healthy Back, where people learn to manage the discomfort of back pain; and Master Motions, lessons that focus on athletic and advanced performance based on functional themes.

Movement Learning Systems also offers private lessons tailored to the individual's needs, and public classes that focus on a particular functional theme.
